  • Alright, so, Joe couldn't get off work for Friday (which is the day my brother Matt is flying into St Louis). So, instead of Emily picking Jess up and bringing her here on Thursday she's staying til Friday to bring Matt home. Thankfully I got Thursday off work so I can go up and get Jess after she gets off work. But, then we'll have to head over to Columbia to pick up Jeff's best man John before heading to Buffalo for our rehearsal. I will be spending just about 8 hours on the road on Thursday... Whoo!!! Lol. Then we just have to figure out who's bringing them back on Sunday. Joe and Matt both have to be back in St Louis on Sunday, so that shouldn't be a problem. I also have several aunts and uncles that will be driving through St Louis on their way back to Chicago that day too. So, that should be covered. I suppose if nothing else Jeff and I can take them back on Sunday. I'd like to take the day to just relax and enjoy being married, but if it has to it'll wait.

Thankfully things have been getting crossed off the To Do List pretty steadily lately, so there isn't TOO much left to get done.

    To Do List:
    • pick up tuxes (Thursday morning)
    • grocery shop (Thursday morning)
    • make and put up "To Wedding" signs
    • finish veil
    • cook food
    • pick up tables (Friday)
    • pick up cupcakes (Friday)
    • call church about getting keys (tomorrow)
    • get decorations and things to church and set up
    • get hair done (Saturday morning)

    I think that's everything... I think... I hope...

    • set up everything at Church (obviously the day before)
    • figure out how to make veil less stiff and more flowy
    • figure out what I'm doing about getting my hair done day of

  • I have a problem... I was bored at work yesterday because I forgot the last of my origami and didn't have my kindle so.... I downloaded the free kindle pc app and borrowed a few ebooks from the library. I finished the first one in less than 24 hours... I have since been on amazon and have come up with a list of over 3 dozen new authors to look into reading.... I already have almost 800 books on my kindle, and have read about 600 of them, in just a little over a year... Now I don't even want to finish my origami because I want to read... I may need to get some help... Or find a job that will pay me to read books... That would be nice... Especially if I got paid a lot of money to do it...

  • I have to figure out what I'm going to do with my hair for the wedding... I mean, I know what I want to do with it, but I have to figure out if I should have it done 'professionally' or if I should ask someone to do it for me. I might be able to ask my aunt to help with it, she's pretty good at stuff like that.... But then again, I don't want to just assume that she'll be ok doing it. Seems kind of rude, ya know? Also, I want to have Kaitlyn's hair done too. Make her feel just as special at the wedding since its a big day for her too. I think I'll just get appointments to have our hair done that morning, just so I don't have to worry about it. And so I don't feel like I'm imposing on my aunt. Plus I think Kaitlyn will get a kick out of having her hair done in a salon, she'll feel so grown up. Next thing to figure out, do I have my nails done? They're pretty long as they are, so I don't need/want acrylic nails put on, but I was thinking of maybe getting a french manicure, possibly a pedicure too... Never had either one done before though, so any thoughts would be appreciated. I don't really NEED to have my nails done since I keep them long and buffed anyway, I just thought it might be nice to try.

I will be so glad when the wedding is finally over. I'm so sick of origami it isn't funny. I'm also sick of having to plan something like this. Blah! I feel like its always lurking, no matter what I'm doing its there, waiting, stalking... It never goes away! Lol.

  • I feel so exhausted... Emotionally and physically... This whole last month with Kaitlyn has been more than rough... Thank god she's on antibiotics now and we have a clear idea of what's been wrong with her. Its a huge relief.

I wish I could sleep for a week. I feel like I could use it. But, with as much work as I've missed (almost 2 1/2 weeks out of the last 4) I can't afford to. I can't really afford to take any more time off. If I can manage it I'll only be taking off another 8 days in the next 3 months. 3 the week before the wedding, 1 two weeks later for our 'honeymoon', and then maybe as many as 4 in July so that Jeff and I can go down to Austin to look at houses. Of course, starting in June I'll only be working part time because my GA spot on campus starts, but I'll be getting paid about $900/month for June and July from that so being part time here won't be that big of a deal. At the very least I'll be able to make up the last 2 1/2 weeks that I've missed here over those two months being part time.
